Mrs Franklin D. Roosevelt Peony

'Mrs Franklin D. Roosevelt' Peony 3-5 eye. Zones 2-8. Height 36" Mid season bloomer.
Beautiful blossoms of soft, creamy, apple blossom pink. Lovely double form peony reminds one of a water lily. A perennial favorite and APS Gold Metal winner. Easy to grow and long lived. 3-5 eye bareroot divisions, ship spring and fall. (Having been divided in fall)

Plant in full sun, in fertile, well drained soils. In northern states plant roots 2" below the soil line. In more southern states plant roots 1" below the soil line. Planting in partial shade (areas with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight) may guard plants from the intense summer sun of southern states. Peonies are best planted in states that receive 40 degrees or lower temps in winter as a chilling period is needed for good bloom.
